This course focuses on the preservation, identification, extraction, documentation and interpretation of computer data. Choose this subscription for a single course.

Topics covered include evidence handling, chain of custody, collection, preservation, identification, and recovery of computer data using forensic recovery software and methods. Prerequisite: Computer and Internetworking Technologies 1111 and Computer and Internetworking Technologies 1112 with a grade of C or better or equivalent or consent of instructor (2 lecture hours, 2 lab hours) .
